This, again, is the product of my delaying other more important things. This time, it's piano practice I should be doing. Fittingly, this was in fact sketched on the back of a copy of a Chopin Nocturne I should be playing. I believe you can see Chopin's work on the other side, just faded but still there. The remastered, with the other side of the image washed into white, can be seen as well.
My name is Joel and I'm working my way through high school in Australia . Music has always been my first love, my most engrossing pass-time, so it is strange for me to branch out so into art; I find that time is scarce for most things these days. I am romantically involved with the cello and the piano (Paul Simon fans will now understand the joke behind this blog's naming) and with my pencil and paper and with my books; as a result, there are times when having so many lovers is tiring and I worry that I'm betraying them all to each other. This blog is my means of escaping from music into the world of art, which I so rarely broach, and a medium through which I can exploring my own styles and influences.
Looks like someone's returned to the internet.
